The Ten Day Rule
You can legally drive!!!
Your DUI citation will act as your regular driver’s license for the first ten days following your arrest. See your DUI citation.
“Unless ineligible (meaning if your license was already suspended prior to your arrest) your citation shall serve as a temporary driver’s license and will expire on midnight on the tenth day following the date of your arrest.”
You (or your attorney) must act within 10 days in order to protect your license by filing a request for a FORMAL REVIEW HEARING.
