Client was accused of shoplifting in the Pembroke Lakes Mall and was arrested by Pembroke Pines Police Department for petit theft contrary to Florida Statute section 812.014(3)(a). Successfully negotiated the client’s entry into a diversion program which ultimately resulted in the charges being dropped. The case was handled in Broward County at the Hollywood Courthouse before the Judge Arlene Backman.
